| | | The many
pieces of this wonderful Imperial Chinese Vase in royal blue were reconstructed
with Hxtal epoxy. The discerning customer did not want the repair to show in this
simple yet elegant glaze and therefore a decorative restoration was undertaken.
After reconstruction of the shards, losses and joins were compensated with a fine
grade model putty and smoothed to match the original surfaces. Retouching was
done with Acryloid B72 thinned with toluene. |
