All quotes are honored for 6 months and can only be confirmed after seeing the piece in person.

  • We offer treatments for both canvas and panel paintings, including the restoration of holes, tears, and signs of natural again. We provide cleaning, varnishing and retouching. The frame that accompanies your painting may be preserved through cleaning, reconstruction of broken surface ornament and gilding.

Objects

  • The Decorative Objects department primarily focuses on the preservation of ceramics, porcelains, crystal and glassware. Our Objects conservators know the value of each object, and intend on respecting the delicate nature of these materials. From chipped to shattered, these conservators are up for the challenge.

Crystal Polishing

Polishing starts at $25 per glass and may increase depending on severity of the affected area.

Woods

  • Our Woods Department handles damaged furniture, carved statuary, and anything made of wood.  Special skills include gilding, carving, veneering, marquetry, and reintegrating surfaces to achieve their original luster.

Metals

  • Our Sculptures and Metals department provides a wide variety of conservation services for not only metal but stone objects as well. In addition to cleaning and polishing, we offer repairs for silver teapots with dents or broken lids, loose feet or spouts and damaged sterling flatware from the disposal. Bronze, iron, and steel sculptures can be soldered or welded and any missing elements fabricated. Specialized expertise is offered in gold plating, application of special patinas and unique finishes.
